I wrote this book because I have overcome a negative pattern of thinking and action and I believe we are never too old to know and experience success. The catalyst for this change was a series of events within a short space of time and the polarizing effect these had on my life. Added in the mix was our car accident which did more damage than we had realized in the beginning, and I am not referring to the car which was written off. I had to take a good hard look at where I was, where I needed to be, and how I was going to get there. The learning began in earnest and I am sharing that journey with you. What have I learned so far.... I have learned that to be empowered does not have to be at the expense of dis-empowering others.
Author Biography
KAREN PIVOTT is the author of AIRBAGS AND STARTING OVER and is a published radio scriptwriter with HCJB Beyond the Call with Ron Cline series 2001. Radio Southland 2004 and 2005. Published play write "Gavin's 21st." 2000 Nelson fringe art festival and literacy specialist. Karen lives in Invercargill New Zealand with her husband. Karen loves educating and inspiring people to improve their lives and the lives of all the people they connect with.
