Author Biography

Kes Bass was born in New York City and later moved to Seattle in 1973, where she earned her B.A. in Psychology/Special Education from the University of Washington. After teaching for almost 20 years she and her husband Tom moved to Northern Idaho, where in the shadow of the Cabinet Mountain Range, they built a tiny cabin and began what they hoped would be a more modest and uncluttered way of living.
